During 2020-2021 three of Brea’s closest friends in her home city of Berlin moved back to their home counties due to the challenges of the pandemic. There were still so many memories to be made. These people were her chosen family, and all of a sudden, they were gone, and she needed to begin again.

Seasons are a part of life. With each meeting, loss, move, or stage of growth, we enter a new season. Sometimes we are ready for it, and other times, we aren’t. Sometimes we have control over the change, other times we don’t. This song describes the moment you know a season is about to end, and wanting to hold onto it a moment longer so as to savor it one last time.
